Our hanging system:

A wall railing system is used in all of our exhibition spaces to ensure that your artworks are displayed professionally and securely.

Wires are attached to the railing, and secure hooks are inserted into the wires to hang the artwork.

Each artwork is hung with double wires and secure hooks.  The secure hooks are inserted directly into the D-rings on each side of the artwork, ensuring stability and security.

Artwork Hardware:

All artwork must have the appropriate hanging hardware attached to the back. Any other type of hardware described below will not be accepted.  Your artwork could be refused if the proper hardware is not used.

For framed artwork made of wood or any other material:

• D-rings must be used as they provide a more secure attachment and reduce the risk of damaging the wall or the artwork.
• D-rings must be securely screwed on both sides into the frame. To position screws, measure about one-third down from the top of the frame and mark the location.
• Braided or twisted wire (not monofilament) must be attached.
• If the wire is adequate to hold the weight, it adds nothing to the wire’s holding power to tie a complex knot. For this reason, the wire should be secured simply by coiling it around itself twice into the D-ring on each side.
• Cover the wire ends with tape on both sides (such as electrical tape) to prevent bare wire from causing injury or scratching the wall.

Exception for metal frame kit:

If you use a metal frame and its appropriate hanging hardware, please follow the instructions below:

The secure hook doesn’t fit the ring included in the metal frame kit, therefore, a key ring is added to the existing ring to enable us to attach the secure hook.

Notre système d’accrochage:

Un système d’accrochage sur rail et mural est utilisé dans tous nos espaces d’exposition pour garantir une présentation professionnelle et sécurisée de vos œuvres.

Des fils sont fixés au rail et des crochets de sécurité y sont insérés pour suspendre les œuvres.

Chaque œuvre est suspendue à l’aide de fils doubles et de crochets de sécurité. Ces crochets sont insérés directement dans les anneaux en D de chaque côté de l’œuvre, garantissant ainsi stabilité et sécurité.

Matériel d’accrochage:

Toutes les œuvres doivent être munies du matériel d’accrochage approprié fixé au dos. Tout autre type de matériel que décrit plus bas ne sera pas accepté. Votre œuvre pourrait être refusée si le matériel d’accrochage utilisé n’est pas utilisé.

Pour les œuvres encadrées en bois ou tout autre matériau :

• Les anneaux en D doivent être utilisés, car ils offrent une fixation plus sécuritaire et réduisent le risque d’endommager le mur ou l’œuvre.
• Les anneaux en D doivent être solidement vissés des deux côtés du cadre. Pour positionner les vis, mesurez environ un tiers du haut du cadre et marquez l’emplacement.
• Un fil tressé ou torsadé (et non un monofilament) doit être fixé.
• Si le fil est suffisamment résistant pour supporter le poids, la réalisation d’un nœud complexe n’en augmente pas la force de maintien. Pour cette raison, il suffit de l’enrouler deux fois sur lui-même dans l’anneau en D de chaque côté.
• Couvrez les extrémités du fil avec du ruban adhésif des deux côtés (type ruban isolant) pour éviter que le fil dénudé ne blesse ou ne raye le mur.

Exception pour la trousse de cadre en métal:

Si vous utilisez un cadre en métal et son matériel de suspension inclus dans la trousse, veuillez suivre les instructions ci-dessous :

Le crochet de sécurité ne s’adapte pas à l’anneau inclus dans le kit de cadres métalliques. Par conséquent, un anneau porte-clés est ajouté à l’anneau existant pour nous permettre de fixer le crochet de sécurité.
