DeSerres Artist Demos

Arteast, in partnership with DeSerres at St. Laurent Shopping Centre, will continue to offer two Arteast members an opportunity to display their artistic skills at DeSerres every other Saturday between the hours of 11:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Each artist may bring two (2) artworks, which will be placed on display in the front window of DeSerres. There will be no commission charged by DeSerres or Arteast if an artwork is sold, however artists must be prepared to process the sale on their own.

Artists will be doing a demonstration of how they create art at the front of the store. Participants must be willing to interact with the public and answer questions about their artwork as well as promote Arteast.

Demo Location: DeSerres St. Laurent Shopping Centre
1200 St. Laurent Blvd., Ottawa K1K 3B8

Demo Time: 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Arteast, en partenariat avec DeSerres au centre commercial St-Laurent, continuera d’offrir à deux membres d’Arteast l’occasion d’exposer leurs talents artistiques chez DeSerres un samedi sur deux, entre 11 h 30 et 15 h.

Chaque artiste peut apporter deux (2) œuvres qui seront exposées dans la vitrine de DeSerres. Aucune commission ne sera facturée par DeSerres ou Arteast si une œuvre est vendue, les artistes doivent être prêts à traiter la vente par eux-mêmes.

Les artistes feront une démonstration de la façon dont ils créent de l’art à l’avant du magasin. Les participants doivent être disposés à interagir avec le public et à répondre aux questions sur leurs œuvres ainsi qu’à promouvoir Arteast.

Demonstrating my art art Deserres was an enriching experience—I was able to connect with other artists and talk about my process with the steady stream of people passing through. The staff at Deserres were very helpful and friendly and it was all-around a very rewarding afternoon. I had a wonderful time and will sign up again in the future.
