St. Laurent Complex

Our second annual Holiday Mix exhibit at the St. Laurent Complex can be considered a success, with 28 artists exhibiting 44 pieces of art, and with 4 sales made the very first week.
The works range from winter scenes to summer, still life to abstract, with many different styles, a wonderfully eclectic show. And the exhibits demonstrate the many different media that Arteast members work in: photography, watercolour, acrylics, coloured pencil, mixed media, charcoal, computer generated, encaustic, and wood cut prints.
Each work for Holiday Mix is required to be no larger than 12″ x 12″, including frame, maximizing the number of pieces that can be shown in the space available to us.
The process to deliver paintings was very smooth and took only minutes. And at least one high school student was on hand to help, for which she could claim volunteer hours for school. Thank you to all those who helped with this show, it could not have been done without you.
We encourage Arteast members to think about exhibiting at an upcoming show at the St. Laurent Complex. Pieces are not juried, but must have the appropriate hardware for hanging. Please refer to the exhibition rules provided on each show. Such shows are great opportunities to display your work, and for those just beginning to exhibit, to get your name and art out in front of the public.
