Arteast Ottawa uses the St-Laurent Complex Gallery for a number of events:
Gallery Exhibit:
The gallery is located in the main lobby and has four display walls, 16 feet wide and approx. 8 feet high. This is an ideal location for 4 featured artists with small and large artworks. We hold 4 exhibitions per year at 2-month intervals - a great opportunity for member artists to exhibit both small and large work.
Open Studio:
Held on the 2nd & 4th Thursday of the month, the studio is open to all Arteast Ottawa members. It is a great opportunity for members to get together and sketch, paint or create in their chosen medium. This is not an Art Class. Please Note: There is no Open Studio time in July or August. In the months of June and December there is only one studio date. Time: 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Bring a lunch and a mug, tea is provided. Bring your painting supplies and project.
Oil painters: NO VOC solvent based products or Liquin are permitted. Contact the Open Studio coordinator for more information. Easels and worktables are available.
